Cantaloupe is a large, round melons with textured ivory and pale green skin and sweet, juicy, orange flesh. Fresh cantaloupes are sold whole or in pieces.

To make cantaloupe balls:
Cut the cantaloupe in half. Place the edge of a melon baller on the cut half of the cantaloupe. Press into the fruit and twist the handle to form a ball.
