Dried cranberries

Cooking Recipes Catalogue

Dried cranberries, which resemble raisins in shape and texture, are kiln-dried, lightly sugared cranberries that are available year-round. They are eaten out of hand and used as an ingredient in baking and in sauces and chutneys. Tightly wrapped dried cranberries last for months in the refrigerator or freezer.

For other varieties of dried fruit, see currants, dried apples, dried apricots, dried blueberries, dried cherries, dried figs, dried mangoes, dried peaches, dried pears, prunes, and raisins.
