INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 4 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
Place apples in pie shell. Mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over apples in shell.
Melt the butter or margarine and stir into cream. Pour liquids over apples.
