Thinly sliced sirloin tip, onions, and sour cream are combined in this elegant, easily prepared dinner-party staple. It could even be made in advance and gently reheated, adding the sour cream just before serving.
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin tip, cut into thin slices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef and the onions; cook until the meat is browned and the onion tender.
Stir in sour cream, and heat through. Do not boil.
