Like a pecan pie without the pecans! This is a classic recipe that makes a clear filling with a rich brown sugar flavor.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C.)
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, white sugar, flour, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Mix in the melted butter. Pour filling into pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until filling is set.
