This is a buttermilk-wheat loaf for the bread machine. It 's a good thing that it is so easy to make, because your family will be asking for it all the time.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
PREPARATION:
Place buttermilk, butter or margarine, sugar, salt, flour, whole wheat flour, and yeast into pan of bread machine.
Bake on White Bread setting. Cool on wire racks before slicing.
