For this delightful pie, cherry pie filling is dolled up with sweetened condensed milk, eggs and lemon juice. Then it 's baked in a graham cracker crust and chilled for a few hours.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 3 eggs
- 1 (16 ounce) can pitted sour cherries, drained
- 2 (9 inch) prepared vanilla wafer crust
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, beat the eggs well.
In another bowl, mix together milk and lemon juice, and add to the eggs. Stir in pie cherries. Divide filling into crusts.
Place pies in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and chill for at least 2 hours.
