Cinnamon Glazed Walnuts

These slightly spicy, sweet nuts are a terrific holiday snack or salad and vegetable topper.

INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):


  • Heat oven to 250 degrees F. Combine sugar, cinnamon, red pepper, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Beat egg white until foamy in a medium bowl. Add walnuts; tossing to coat. Add spice mixture; toss to coat nuts evenly.
  • Spread nuts on a greased baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 1 hour, stirring nuts after 30 minutes. Cool slightly and break apart. Cool completely and store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
