Pork just loves a sweet sauce, and this one is definitely unique! Cola, ketchup and brown sugar are baked with pork chops for an easy, zesty entree.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 8 pork chops
- 1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
- 1 cup ketchup
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the cola and ketchup. Pour over chops and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour, or until pork is cooked through and internal temperature has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
