This warm and hearty dip is big on ground sausage: It's sauteed and mixed with spicy canned tomatoes and cream cheese for a downright meaty chip accompaniment.
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 1 pound sausage
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
In a large skillet, cook sausage over a medium heat until it is browned and cooked through.
Mix tomatoes and cream cheese into the skillet. Stir and continue cooking the mixture over a medium heat until the cheese has melted.
