Chutney makes this ham-and-cheese sandwich a cut above the rest.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings):
- 1/2 cup CROSSE and BLACKWELL® Apple Curry Chutney
- 8 thin slices French bread
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 8 thin slices cooked ham
- 4 thin slices Cheddar cheese
SPREAD chutney evenly over slices of bread. Top each of 4 bread slices evenly with tomato, 2 slices ham and 1 slice cheese. Top with remaining bread slices, chutney side down. Generously spray top and bottom bread slices with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray.
GRILL sandwiches in large nonstick skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Cut in half.
