Ham and cheese sandwiches are a standard, but wait 'til you try this ham salad with cheese on your next sandwich. Chopped ham, celery and cheese, a bit of prepared mustard and mayonnaise, that 's all. Make a traditional sandwich or stuff in a pita pocket
INGREDIENTS (for 5 servings):
- 2 cups chopped ham
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoons prepared mustard
In a food processor, combine the ham and celery; pulse until finely chopped. Add cheese and pulse until mixed.
Place mixture in a bowl and add the mayonnaise and mustard. Mix well; serve on sandwich or pita bread.
