Treat yourself to this KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal creation. Kids are sure to love the fun 'drumstick' shape.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 (10 ounce) package marshmallows
- 6 cups KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® Cereal
- Peanut butter
- KELLOGG'S® COCOA KRISPIES® cereal
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt margarine, marshmallows on HIGH for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Stir mixture until smooth.
Add KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Allow to cool slightly.
Cut cereal mixture with knife into drumstick shapes. Spread peanut butter over top of each drumstick, then dip in KELLOGG'S® COCOA KRISPIES® cereal. Chill until firm. Best if served the same day.
Microwave cooking times may vary.CONVENTIONAL PREPARATION:
Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Follow steps 2 thru 4 above.Note:
For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.
Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.
Store no more than two days in airtight container.
