Lemon grass and ginger supply the perfect flavor for this refreshing sorbet. This recipe was developed by the McCormick Corporate Chefs for a luncheon given during the 45th National Chicken Cooking Contest held in Baltimore on May 30, 2003.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 2 (.18 ounce) jars McCormick® Gourmet Collection™ Lemon Grass
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Gourmet Collection® Ground Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Refrigerate 4 hours.
Strain and place in an ice cream maker. Freeze thoroughly.
