These sausage balls mixed with biscuit mix are made extra tasty and even softer with processed cheese sauce.
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 1/2 pound fresh, ground pork sausage
- 1/2 pound fresh, ground spicy pork sausage
- 3 ounces processed cheese sauce
- 2 cups buttermilk biscuit dry mix
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a medium-sized bowl, combine regular sausage with spicy sausage, cheese and biscuit mix. Mix well and form into small balls, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches diameter. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake until fully cooked, about 15 minutes.
