Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, sour cream and lots of raisins make this custard pie special. Everything is stirred together in one big bowl, and then the mixture is spooned into a pastry shell and baked. Let the pie cool and serve it with whipped cream or vani
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large mixing bowl combine egg yolks, sour cream, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Mix thoroughly. Stir in raisins. Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted halfway between center and edge of filling comes out clean. Chill before serving.
