Strips of tender turkey breast are marinated in a soy-honey base and then cooked on the grill. The sesame oil gives them a distinctive Asian-inspired flair.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings):
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, lightly toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pound skinless, boneless turkey breast tenderloins - butterflied
In a shallow, flat dish, combine the soy sauce, sherry, honey, sesame seeds, sesame oil and garlic. Place the tenderloins in the dish and turn to coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
Grill tenderloins over high heat for about 3 minutes per side, or until internal meat temperature reaches 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).
