A terrific, creamy sauce to serve with grilled salmon, steamed artichokes, and boiled new potatoes in the summertime. Wonderful with salmon, it's also great with other more mild fish dishes.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (8 ounce) container creme fraiche
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 pinch white pepper
- 3 1/2 ounces red lumpfish caviar
In a bowl, stir together sour cream, creme fraiche, mayonnaise, dill, and white pepper. Carefully mix in caviar. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
