Focaccia is a rustic Italian flat bread. Here, it is rich with a topping of pine nuts, olives, and Parmesan cheese. Warm some additional olive oil to dip the slices of focaccia in, if you like.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled baking pan. Use a rolling pin to stretch it until it fully covers the bottom of the pan. Or, pat it into a rectangle.
Once the dough is in the pan, use your fingertips to dot the dough with slight indentations. Press straight down, not at a slant, for best effect.
