This is a classic recipe that will give you a rich barbecue sauce in no time, cooking up in one pot in about ten minutes. It 's also nice with a few drops of liquid smoke stirred in.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
PREPARATION:
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the lemon juice, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and mustard powder and stir well. Simmer for 10 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool.
