A spicy twist on black-eyed peas.
INGREDIENTS (for 3 servings):
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- minced jalapeno pepper to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
In a medium-size pot, combine black-eyed peas, onion, jalapeno peppers, and black pepper (to taste). Heat all ingredients to simmer, let cook 30 minutes. Enjoy!
