Brown sugar, egg, corn syrup and butter are cooked on the stove until thick, rich and smooth.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
PREPARATION:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine egg, sugar, corn syrup, water and butter. Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter melts, sugar dissolves and mixture is thick and smooth.
