Seasoned wine, broth and mushrooms make this creamy sauce perfect for your pasta.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 (4 ounce) jar mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 egg
PREPARATION:
In a skillet over medium heat, saute the mushrooms in butter. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in wine, chicken broth, and cream. Simmer with Italian seasoning and egg; mix well.
