Creamy tasting syrup that's great when poured over cakes with fruit.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION:
In a saucepan combine the butter or margarine, evaporated milk, white sugar, and the vanilla extract. Bring to a boil over medium high heat and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Pour over your choice of cake while syrup is still warm.
