Dry milk adds texture and protein without fat or a lot of calories. Try this easy concoction with your favorite fruit: strawberries, blackberries, bananas, kiwi, peaches or cherries, for example.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings):
- 3 cups fruit, fresh, frozen, unsweetened or canned (drained)
- 2/3 cup NESTLE® CARNATION® Nonfat Dry Milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION:
PLACE all ingredients in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
NOTE:For a tropical taste sensation, follow directions using a mixture of mango, papaya and pineapple to make up 3 cups fruit.
