Cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and an egg yolk are blended for a creamy filling. Use to fill baked goods such as cup cakes or cheese Danishes.
INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings):
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION:
In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Refrigerate before using to fill pastries prior to baking them.
