Place all the ingredients for a classic taco -like cheese, ground beef, tomatoes, and more -in a slow cooker, and you've got a hit of a dip on your hands.
INGREDIENTS (for 9 servings):
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (1 pound) loaf processed cheese, shredded
PREPARATION:
In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat. Stir in seasoning packet and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Let cook for 5 minutes, stir occasionally.
Place ground beef mixture into a slow cooker. Add tomatoes and cheese to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 1 hour.
