Cheese and some lemon juice add a nice flavor. This dip smells great in the oven.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 3 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the clams, lemon juice, onion, butter, pepper and bread crumbs. Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Top the mixture with the cheese. Bake about 20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.
