This is a tangy sauce of sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, dill weed and lemon juice. Serve over potatoes, or as a dip for vegetables, if desired.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
- 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
PREPARATION:
In a medium bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, dill and lemon juice. Mix well and chill for at least 1 hour.
