Cream of celery soup, chopped spinach, onion and seasonings are combined in a saucepan and cooked on top of the stove in this vegetable side dish.
INGREDIENTS (for 9 servings):
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 onion, finely diced
PREPARATION:
In a saucepan, combine celery soup, flour, butter or margarine, garlic salt, salt and pepper, spinach and onion. Whisk together and cook over medium heat until hot and thick.
