Cayenne pepper, onion, garlic and Worcestershire sauce have their way with this delicious French-style dressing. The result is a robust dressing that lends itself to heartier salad ingredients. Makes a lot - three and a half cups.
INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings):
- 1 cup sunflower seed oil
- 3/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
PREPARATION:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, salt, pepper, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate and whisk before using.
