Using bottled salad dressing is a time saver in this classic shredded cabbage salad with carrots, peppers and green onions. Serve with a ham or turkey dinner.
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 1 cup creamy salad dressing
- salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, green onion, salad dressing, and salt and pepper. Toss, refrigerate and serve.
