A classic Fifties drink that's as simple and satisfying as cocktails come: White sugar sweetens up lime juice and gin ...the rim of the glass gets sweetened, too.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 2 fluid ounces gin
- 2 fluid ounces sweetened lime juice
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/2 cup ice
PREPARATION:
Place sugar in a shallow dish; dip rim of chilled glass into sugar so rim is coated.
Scoop ice into a shaker. Pour gin and lime juice over the ice, and shake well. Pour drink into prepared glass.
