A vibrant low-fat green bean salad with red onion and cherry tomatoes, topped with Gorton's delicious grilled fillets.
INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings):
- 1 (7.6 ounce) package Gorton's® Grilled Fillets (any flavor)
- 1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
- 4 ounces cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 cup Balsamic Italian salad dressing
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
PREPARATION:
Cook a package of Grilled Fillets according to instructions on package.
Blanch 1 pound of fresh green beans in water to desired crunch or cook frozen according to package directions.
Slice red onion and fresh basil into thin strips. Cut cherry tomatoes in half.
Combine blanched green beans, red onion, basil, and cherry tomatoes in bowl. Toss to coat with dressing and let stand for 10 minutes.
Place salad in bowl and top with cooked Grilled Fillets.
