Yams are drizzled with maple syrup, dusted with nutmeg and cinnamon, and baked with butter for a treat the whole family will love.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 3 large yams, quartered length-wise
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, sliced
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Lay yams skin side down in a 9x12 inch baking dish. Pour maple syrup over the yams and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Dot with butter and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
