A squeeze of fresh lime juice brightens the flavors in this cream cheese, cocktail sauce and shrimp spread. Serve with crackers.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings):
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) jar cocktail sauce
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lime
- 1 (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers
PREPARATION:
Place cream cheese in center of serving platter.
Mix together cocktail sauce and shrimp. Pour mixture over cream cheese.
Slice lime in half; squeeze one half over cocktail sauce. Slice other half into wedges for garnish.
Place crackers and lime wedges around edge of plate and serve.
