This classic East Coast cocktail--slightly, but not overpoweringly, sweet--is shaken not stirred.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 2 fluid ounces bourbon
- 1/2 fluid ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 maraschino cherry (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice
PREPARATION:
Place ice into a shaker, and pour the vermouth and bourbon over the ice. Mix well. Pour drink into a cocktail glass, and garnish with a cherry.
