A little pesto goes a long way, and is marvelous for these quick and tasty appetizers.
INGREDIENTS (for 8 servings):
- 1 (7 ounce) container BUITONI® Refrigerated Pesto with Basil
- 1 French baguette, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Sliced plum tomatoes (optional)
PREPARATION:
PREHEAT broiler.
SPREAD pesto over bread; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Top with tomatoes. Place on baking sheet.
BROIL for 1 to 2 minutes or until bread is crisp and cheese is melted. Cut into pieces.
