Drop cookies with whole wheat flakes and coconut.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flake cereal
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
PREPARATION:
Cream shortening with sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Mix together dry ingredients and stir into wet mix. Place by heaping spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 minutes. Remove immediately to cool.
