Mmmmmm this frosting is really good. You can either ice cookies with it, or cut pieces of cake into small shapes and make "petit fours".
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 drops red food coloring
PREPARATION:
Cream butter and add sugar alternately with milk, use enough milk to have a semi thin icing, but not watery. Mix in vanilla. Separate icing into several bowls and tint each a different color. Frost cookies and decorate!
