Sweet and simple, the Reese's Peanut Butter signature cookie will please any chocolate chip cookie or peanut butter cookie lover in your home. For best results, double this recipe - so you can enjoy some, too!
INGREDIENTS (for 6 servings):
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 (10 ounce) package REESE'S® Peanut Butter Chips
- 2/3 cup HERSHEY®'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY®'S Milk Chocolate Chips
PREPARATION:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Stir together flour and baking soda.
Beat shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
