Ground beef, garlic and onions are sauteed, then slow cooked with tomato puree and seasonings.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 (28 ounce) cans tomato puree
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
PREPARATION:
Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Stir in onion and garlic; cook 1 to 2 minutes.
In a slow cooker combine ground beef mixture, tomato puree, tomato paste, sugar, Italian seasoning and salt. Cook on low for 4 hours.
