A basic teriyaki sauce with a hint of sherry.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 servings):
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup sherry
PREPARATION:
Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, onion and sherry and stir well until sugar dissolves. Use to marinate meat or veggies.
