An easy sauce made from yogurt, mint and cayenne pepper. Perfect to serve with Indian cuisine.
INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings):
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 sprigs fresh mint, chopped
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
PREPARATION:
In a small bowl or blender, stir together the yogurt, chopped mint, sugar, salt and cayenne until well blended. Serve immediately or chill for a while to let the flavors come together.
