Crushing Wafers
Place vanilla wafers in a heavy-duty plastic bag. Press out all of the air, then seal the bag. Crush the cookies into crumbs by rolling over them with a rolling pin.
Sprinkling Crumbs
Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the partially baked wafer crust with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture evenly over the filling.
